Hello, and thanks for your interest in
Chequamegon Soap.
In the summer of 2000, after years of "Someday" and "When we
retire", my husband Scott and I threw caution to the wind,
left our home & jobs in the Twin Cities area, and followed our
hearts to northern Wisconsin.
Not long after, I decided
to take another leap of faith and try to turn my long-time hobby
of soap making into a business.
Chequamegon Soap is an
all-natural, moisturizing soap that's even gentle enough to
use on your face. And
Although I've added a number of scents as well as quite a
few gift and specialty items, the basic recipe that I use today in most of my soaps is the same one
that I
originally developed to use on my own extremely dry, sensitive
skin.
While I doubt that I'll ever get rich doing this, I wake up
every morning in a place I love, and look forward to doing
something I truly enjoy...
Maybe I'm already rich after
all!
